The results of ISC 2014 will be declared on May 17 and ICSE on May 21.

“Both results will be declared at 3pm,” Gerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, announced on Wednesday.

The results will be available online as well as through SMS. To check a result online, go to www.cisce.org and click on the ISC/ICSE results link. Both ICSE and ISC results can be accessed by entering an examinee’s unique seven-digit ID and date of birth.

ISC examinees who have passed their Class X exams from other boards have to enter their “eligibility number” along with their ID.

To know the result through SMS, type ICSE or ISC, press space, enter the examinee’s ID number and send to 09248082883. Schools will access the results online by logging into the “CAREERS” portal of the CISCE using the principal’s login ID and password.

For any clarification, they can contact the CISCE at ciscehelpdesk@orioninc.com or call 022-67226106.

The ICSE and ISC exams were held in February and March. This is the first time in the history of the council that the results of the twin exams will be declared on different dates. For more than three decades, the council had announced the results of the Class X and XII exams on the same day.

Even this year, the council had initially decided to declare the results of the ISC and ICSE exams together. “The results of ISC-ICSE 2014 will be published in all probability on May 19 or May 20,” the council had said in a notice to the heads of all affiliated schools earlier this month.
