Calcutta was filmi-eyed as two show-stoppers touched down on Sunday. First up was Rock On!! star Farhan Akhtar, who was in town to pick up a trophy. “I have a lot of respect for the city.... Some of the best filmmakers in the country have come from Calcutta,” gushed the actor-director-singer. Emraan Hashmi turned up to promote Raaz — The Mystery Continues, which releases on January 23. “Calcutta has been very lucky for me. The last time I was here for Jannat, I was mobbed and had to hide in a toilet. I haven’t seen this kind of frenzy anywhere,” smiled the serial-kisser at a multiplex. Pictures by Aranya Sen
