A 21-year-old youth from Cooch Behar, who had cycled for over 10,000km and covered 19 states while imparting messages of peace, amity, integrity and education for all, was felicitated by the Trinamul Congress upon the completion of the journey on Wednesday.

Nikhil Sarkar, a third-year under-graduate student of Cooch Behar BT & Evening College who cycled for around 100 days, said: “I had started my journey on October 11 last year and today (Wednesday), I returned to Cooch Behar. I have travelled to states like Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and also covered the entire Bengal during the journey.”
