Durgapur, May 26: A day after 50 workers fell ill in a chlorine leak at Durgapur Chemicals Limited here, two contract workers fell ill again this morning when some gas leaked again from a loose valve in the tanker it was kept in, reports our correspondent.

Two workers on contract smelled the gas and began vomiting. They were treated at the factory hospital and later released.

Yesterday, chlorine gas had leaked from a tanker after a valve opened accidentally while its surface was being cleaned. The chlorine gas leak for the second consecutive day at the factory in the Coke Oven area caused panic among workers.
