Suri, May 30: A 16-member team from Visva-Bharati, headed by vice-chancellor Sushanta Duttagupta, today left for China for a week on invitation from Tongji University in Shanghai and Yunnan University in Kunming.
Duttagupta said the two universities would honour Tagore on 100 years of his winning the Nobel. The team of Sangeet Bhavana members will perform songs and dance in China.
