BJP MPs from Bengal will participate in a sit-in in front of the Gandhi statue in Parliament on Monday.

“Our demonstration will demand the intervention of the CBI and ED to solve the mystery behind the greater conspiracy involved in the SSC scam,” Majumdar, also an MP from Balurghat, said.

Speaking on the “greater conspiracy”, Majumdar said that Mamata herself is involved in this scam and his party’s street corner meetings will propagate this among people of Bengal.

The party will organise street corner meetings at every ward and area in municipal areas across Bengal till August 5 to “enlighten” people in the state on the “conspiracy” behind the scam, Majumdar added.

“Our workers will also participate in break-the-law and go-to-jail agitations between August 19 and 23 in the districts,” the MP said.

Additionally, the BJP will conduct rallies and agitations at all blocks of the state from August 6 to 8 and from August 16 to 18.

“In addition to this, we will begin a sit-in from this week in Calcutta. Every day for three hours we will participate in this demonstration,” he said, adding that the venue and time for these events were yet to be specified.
