Calcutta, Dec. 31 :    Calcutta, Dec. 31:  Shiv Sundar Das termed it as 'the best spell' he has seen in first class cricket and Devang Gandhi attributed the meek surrender to Debashish Mohanty's fire. The medium-pacer, who had a match-haul of 11 for 93, felt it was the presence of Sourav Ganguly at the other end that 'charged' him up in this Ranji Trophy encounter. He, however, did not bowl to a definite plan. 'I wasn't bowling too quick on this slow wicket. I bowled within my limitations and concentrated on the line and length. As the batsmen made mistakes my task became easier. 'You cannot bowl any bad ball when you're bowling to the Souravs and the Sachins. So it was just sticking to the basics and giving the batsmen very little width,' Mohanty remarked. He wouldn't like to term it as his best, but reckoned it as one of his 'most memorable' achievements. Mohanty felt that the ball with which he dismissed Wrichik Mazumder yesterday was 'the most satisfying'. 'It squared him up as he was beaten neck and crop.' Wrichik dropped Wrichik Mazumder, Amitava Banerjee and Subhomoy Das have been dropped from the Bengal squad for the Ranji tie versus Bihar from Wednesday.
