Calcutta: Trainer Robert Gowli’s filly Silverina is the one to watch out for in the prestigious event of the season, the 2,000m Monsoon Cup, a terms race, which takes the center stage, in the eight-event card, on Wednesday, the concluding fixture of the season. The Classic filly, an easy winner of the Calcutta St Leger, is also favourably paced, by the terms of the race. More importantly, the China Visit-Silver Print daughter has been showing old sparkles in her recent workouts. With Trevor Patel in the saddle, Silverina is expected to have an easy measure of her stable-mate, Malpensa, and the front running, top-weighted horse, Aerator — her main rivals in the field
