Calcutta: Shruti Khanna of Delhi emerged champion in the East India Ladies golf Championship on Thursday. She led the field with 220 gross on the penultimate day, but with play ruled out on Friday because of a bandh, she was declared the winner.
Meghna Bal was second with 223 gross over three days. Nalini Singh was the second runner-up with 232.
In the Rasoi Cup — nett prize in the gold division — Mani Chander and Rukmini Mehta were adjudged best at 216. Nalini, at 217, had a hole-in-one on the par-3 18th hole.
