Calcutta: Raghav Sehgal of La Martiniere for Boys created a meet record (27.35m) in under-19 discus throw of the inter-school athletics meet, organised by the Debanjan Sen Foundation.

Akash Dave (5.52m), also of LMB, and JC Joseph (5.23m) of St Xavier’s registered records in long jump U-19 and U-16 categories, respectively.

In the girls’ sections, Siya Manna (U-19) of Julien Day, Krisha Choukhani (U-16) and Anubha Rachel Rishi (U-13) of La Martiniere for Girls, registered records in long jump.

Arkayan Ganguly, Anindita Basu, Shreya Banerjee, Adrish Mukherjee, Komalpreet Singh, Arjun Bhatia, Ajay Chowdhary and Shruti Soren were the other gold medal winners on the day.
