Calcutta: Mohun Bagan secretary Anjan Mitra on Wednesday announced that the club has found an investor for the football team in US multinational company Streamcast.

"Streamcast have agreed to pump in Rs 200 crore in the next 10 years. An agreement is likely to be signed on September 9. They will be having 74 per cent shares and I hope the five directors will give up their shares," Mitra said at a media conference after the emergent executive committee meeting.

Mitra also claimed that the investor will bring in another Rs 150 crore through different sponsors.

Streamcast is a leading global technology group, which provides cloud-based SaaS streaming services to internet infrastructure owners.

It will be interesting to see whether all the directors agree.

Swapan Sadhan Bose, Srinjay Bose and Debasish Datta, key members of the rival group, are the three shareholding directors of the Mohun Bagan Football Club (India) Pvt. Ltd. along with Mitra. Mitra's daughter Sohini Mitra Chaubey is a non-shareholding member.

Later on Wednesday, Mitra called a directors' meeting, relating to the investor, at the club tent on Thursday.

Mitra also said Mohun Bagan would be submitting a bid to play ISL VI. "Our investor would do the needful," he said.
