Modern High School for Girls won the Nadir Cup 2016 defeating La Martiniere for Girls 2-1 in the final at their home ground on Wednesday. The meet was organised by the Debanjan Sen Foundation.

Calcutta: Modern High School for Girls won the Nadir Cup 2016 defeating La Martiniere for Girls 2-1 in the final at their home ground on Wednesday. The meet was organised by the Debanjan Sen Foundation.

Laldingzuali Sailo put La Martiniere for Girls ahead in the first half. But Modern High came back strongly in the second half. Jahnavi Biyani scored the equaliser and Navya Khanna netted the winner minutes before full-time.
