A chef working for McLaren died after falling from the disused roof terrace of a Budapest hotel on Wednesday morning. The Briton fell from the eighth floor of the Marriott hotel son the banks of the Danube at around 7 am local time (0500 GMT), a police spokeswoman told a Hungarian news agency. Police have ruled out foul play.
“Darren Hawker, a chef for McLaren’s catering company Absolute Taste, died tragically in an accident in his hotel in Budapest,” a spokesperson for McLaren said. “The exact circumstances are still being investigated by the relevant authorities.” (REUTERS)
