Calcutta: Geeta Phogat clinched gold in women’s (59kgs) freestyle category of the 58 th Senior National Wresting Championship being held, here, at the Khudiram Anushilan Kendra.

Geeta hardly had problems in winning the gold medal. Following the Olympian was Divyanshi of Jharkhand, while Nilima of Madhya Pradesh and Kamalesh of Delhit came joint-third.

In men’s (60kgs) Greco-Roman, Rabinder Singh of Haryana bagged the top position, while Deepak Kumar of Delhi and Bengal’s Sukhbir Singh clinched the second and third positions, respectively. In the 74kgs section, Rajbir of PSPB finished on top, followed by Delhi’s Rahul and K.K. Yadav of SSCB.
