Calcutta, May 6 :    Calcutta, May 6:  East Bengal played second fiddle to SAI Training Centre at home this afternoon and came away with a 1-1 result in the senior division group A BHA League - their third draw in eight matches.BNR rode P. Lugan's hattrick to a 7-0 win over West Bengal Police. Lugan netted all three goals BNR got in the first half and added one more in the second. Rajat Minz, Linus Tirkey and Pradip Tirkey completed the tally.The policemen, who have now lost all but one of their eight games, are neck-deep in relegation zone.BSF South Bengal overcame Port Trust by the odd goal in seven. Down 1-3 in the second half, BSF did well to pump in three goals in the final 20 minutes.R. Aind, J. Bhengra, S. Lugun and A. Purti scored for BSF, while S. Patra, N. Das and S. Singh were the Port scorers.P.S. Rawat struck midway through the second session to help CC&FC beat Customs.The East Bengal versus SAI Training Centre duel was a fast-paced one with coast-to-coast action. The SAI boys, with their crisp passing and hard running, dominated the first half and East Bengal had to rely on counter-attacks to test their rivals.It was one such move which gave East Bengal the lead, a minute before half-time. Defender Yusuf Bhengra, on one of his forays upfront, hit a long forward pass which Jaswinder Singh deflected home.SAI threatened the East Bengal citadel a number of occasions but, quite inexplicably, bungled near the striking zone after some delightful approach work. Sixteen minutes into the second half, SAI levelled scores. Poulus Soy worked his way through the left and essayed a measured through which Atal Tirkey controlled superbly and banged home.
