Calcutta: Bengal were made to follow on by Gujarat on Day III of their Cooch Behar Trophy match at the Jadavpur University, Salt Lake campus ground Sunday.

The hosts, resuming at 42 without loss, were dismissed for 244 in their first innings. Sudeep Chatterjee top scored for Bengal with 55 while Arinjit Banerjee remained unbeaten on 40.

For Gujarat, Harshal Patel claimed five for 60. In their second essay, Bengal were 69 without loss.
