Wombo has a new AI-powered app called Wombo Me. The new AI avatar app from the Canadian startup lets you turn a single selfie into multiple avatars.

By this point, most of us are guilty of having uploaded our selfies to the Cloud of some company or the other to get an avatar. Lensa AI is already a popular option. So why Wombo Me? Unlike other similar apps that require multiple selfies to generate avatars, this one requires only one and the processing aspect takes almost no time.

Needless to say, you can share these avatars with friends or turn them into your display picture on Facebook, Instagram or Threads. Well, also X but the only thing exciting about the platform is its owner.

The new app even allows users to try on the persona of celebrities, movie characters or superheroes. There are plenty of styles and make-up trends besides the ability to create gender-swapped images of yourself.
Some avatar packs are free while others cost moolah. But remember, if you are not comfortable sharing your picture with a company, then best to stay away from such apps.
