Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19: The 13th Bring Your Own Film Festival (BYOFF) - a favourite destination for film aficionados and indie film-makers - is set to begin at Hotel Pink House in Puri on February 21.

An independent venture, the five-day festival depends only on people's participation and contribution. Amitabh Chakraborty and Putul Mahmood, both veterans in making and teaching documentaries and narrative fiction, will take classes on direction.

There will be classes on filmmaking, too, for beginners to attract more independent filmmakers.

"Young film-maker Anirban Datta will conduct a workshop for children aged between 7 and 14. The workshop aims to introduce cinema to the kids at a young age. The participants will be able to make a film and screen it during the festival," said BYOFF convenor Debabrata Tripathy.

The festival will conclude on February 25.
