Playschool inaugurated

Chief minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated SAI Angan, a playschool, on April 2. It is an initiative of SAI International School. The school with a total area of 1,50,000 square feet has a capacity to accommodate 1,500 students between the age group of two and seven years. Inaugurating the school, Patnaik said: "Bhubaneswar has become one of the most sought after destinations for education and I am pleased to see that the sector of early education is also fast developing. Kids will surely enjoy on this campus and it will add profoundly to their learning capacities as environmental stimulation plays a major role in developing a healthy brain. I am also very happy to see the precision in planning of this wonderland and I am satisfied with the safety, hygiene and infrastructural standards."

Hunar beats

Mother's Business School celebrated its annual day by organising a programme called Hunar Beats - 2015 on April 8. Song and dance were held in both solo and group format. The students enjoyed a lot on this day. The secretary of the school, Poly Patnaik, and the director, Nadin Rath, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Principal Shesadev Mohapatra read out the annual report of the school for 2014-15 reflecting the success stories of students. The prize distribution ceremony was also held.

Summer camp

Ruchika Pre-school has planned to organise summer fun camps for children. During the camp, kids will learn various activities such as art and craft, pottery and pot painting and baking, origami dry flower making, phonics, personality and etiquette development, culinary, music, dance, theatre, swimming. The main objective of the camp is to make children more confident, independent and responsible and also hone their skills. The camp will begin from May 1 and continue till May 12.

Baby show

Shree Krishna International School in Bhubaneswar organised a baby show for children up to three years on the school premises. A team of doctors from AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, checked their health. Competition was held in different categories. There were activities for parents too.
