Bhubaneswar: The drive for electoral roll revision began in the state on Saturday and will continue till October 31.
The final roll will be published on January 4.
Chief electoral officer Surendra Kumar said: "The disposal of claims and objections will be made before November 30. We want that no voters are left out."
However, officials claimed that if the Election Commission wants to hold elections before the final publication of the electoral rolls, it is competent enough to do it.
Kumar said: "We are laying special emphasis on enrolment of Persons with Disabilities, women and vulnerable sections of society."
He said: "During the period of filing claims and objections till October 31, general public can verify their entries in the electoral roll with the concerned booth-level officer of block, municipality and sub-collector's office. We have developed our website and voters can search their names by logging into www.ceoorissa.nic.in or www.nvsp.in."
