Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited has floated two tenders for construction of two multi-level car parking lots in the city near Raj Mahal Square at Unit-II and Saheed Nagar, respectively.

Cuttack: The one-member commission, formed by the state government to suggest reforms in the management of Jagannath temple in Puri under the chairmanship of former Orissa HC judge Justice Bimal Prasad Das, on Tuesday sought extension of its tenure, citing more time to review the affidavits it had received.

One killed

Malkangiri:  Maoists have killed a villager and abducted another suspecting that the tribal men were backing police in their operations against them at Kudumuluguma, police said. 

Rescued 

Paradip:  The coast guard have rescued six crewmembers of a fishing boat that had developed technical snag in the sea about 80 nautical miles south of Paradip, officials said on Tuesday. The Odisha Marine Fish Producers' Association informed the coast guard that the boat Om Mangala Maa with six crew had become disabled in the sea while fishing.
