Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday left for Delhi to attend the national integration council meeting on Saturday. During the meeting, the state will demand inclusion of four more districts in the security related expenditure scheme and five districts under the integrated action plan scheme. Puri: One person was murdered on Friday in front of Puri district headquarters hospital. The incident took place at 2.30am. Bhubaneswar: The state government has agreed to demolish the illegal bheries in Chilika within three months. Senior officials of Khurda, Puri and Ganjam took this decision on Friday. Fishermen of the Chilika lake under the banner of the Chilika Matsyajibi Mahasangha had given three days time to the government to resume demolition drive against the illegal bheries at the brackish water lake. Bhubaneswar: The Government Railway Police on Friday issued the photos of a thief who had stolen the wallet of a train passenger and unsuccessfully tried to purchase using the debit cards of the victim. Police said, one Ranjan Kumar Samal, lodged a complaint with them regarding the theft on September 2.
