Bhubaneswar: Founder of the Odisha Jan Morcha and Rajya Sabha member Pyari Mohan Mohapatra alleged that a conspiracy had been hatched to sabotage the outfit’s October 28 rally here. n a letter to chief minister Naveen Patnaik, Mohapatra, who was suspended from the BJD in the wake of alleged coup attempt against Naveen, said a deliberate attempt was being made to create disruptions during the rally. Paradip: At least two persons sustained burn injuries in a fire mishap on Thursday afternoon at the Essar steel project site. Fire broke out at the main receiving power sub-station building near the site and could not be controlled till late evening. “Two persons, including a security guard, were hospitalised after they received burn injuries while dousing the fire,” said inspector of Paradip police station Anil Mishra. Bhubaneswar: Three persons were killed when the motorcycle they were riding rammed into a tractor in Keonjhar. The mishap took place on the Naranpur-Duburi Road in the Pandapada police station limits.
