Bhubaneswar: Police raided four beauty parlours in the city and found two of them to be running sex rackets.hey detained 12 persons, including five young girls, some of whom are said to be minors from Bengal. The police are interrogating the parlour owners for more information.

Zero tolerance

Bhubaneswar: AICC general secretary in charge of Odisha B.K. Hariprasad said indiscipline would not be tolerated and that the decision to expel Soumya Ranjan Patnaik for six years was taken on basis of the disciplinary committee’s recommendations. He said, “lots of people have come, joined and later left” the Congress, but it made no difference to its stature as no individual was above the party.
