Fire death

Berhampur: A nine-month-old baby girl was charred to death and her father and mother suffered from injuries when some spilled kerosene caught fire from a burning mosquito coil at their house. The couple - Santosh Kumar Sethi 
and Pushpanjali Sethi - and their baby were sleeping in their house at Khodasingi under BNPur police station limits when the fire broke out in the wee hours of today. 

Japan aid

Bhubaneswar: The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide Rs 1,787 crore for the second phase of construction of the left bank canal at Rengali dam. This will help irrigate 39,416 hectares of farmland.

Exhibition

Bhubaneswar: A makeshift exhibition showcased various facts and theories related to the universe here on Monday. To make it more interactive, quizzing machines were also set up.
