Bhubaneswar: Following the delay in arrival of chief minister Naveen Patnaik’s helicopter at Kotpad in Koraput on Thursday, the government on Friday ordered a three-tier review ahead of any such sojourn from now. Works secretary Nalinikanta Pradhan said that a review of safety and security of helipad would be conducted from now.

Paradip: Police on Friday arrested an employee of Odisha Stevedores Limited from Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on charges of harbouring industrialist Mahimanand Mishra and three of his subordinates, wanted in the murder of a shipping company manager.

Balangir: One person was killed when a pick-up van collided with a private car at Bijakheman in Balangir district on Friday. The deceased was identified as Samaru Putel of Luhakhen village.
