Bhubaneswar, July 27: Odisha Congress Legislature Party leader Narasingha Mishra today met AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi in the backdrop of an ongoing tug of war between the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) and the party MLAs.

Though Mishra refused to divulge details of what transpired at the meeting, party insiders said organisational matters were discussed.

Earlier this week, Rahul had met OPCC president Prasad Harichandan and other senior leaders.

Sources said the party high command was disturbed at the Congress MLAs openly venting their feelings in the state at this juncture for the post on the issue taking the ground realities into account already for the party."
