Sambalpur: Medicos of Burla’s Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, who had been striking since January 12, suspended their agitation till January 31. The decision was taken at a general body meeting of the junior doctors on Thursday. 

Maggi ban

Bhubaneswar: The state government has lifted the ban on Maggi noodles after six months. Food security commissioner Babaji Charan Das said the government has granted permission to Nestle India for selling their instant noodles. However, the health department will recheck the viability of the noodles after a month.

No power cuts

Bhubaneswar: In view of the upcoming secondary and senior secondary and other competitive examinations, the energy department has announced there will be no power cuts till the end of April following a meeting in presence of energy minister Pranab Prakash Das.
