Bhubaneswar, Sept. 13: Police today issued lookout circulars against two directors of Panda Infraproject (India) Private Ltd, the company constructing the railway overbridge at Saheed Nagar that collapsed on Sunday killing one person.

The circulars have been issued against Santosh Panda and Sujata Panda.

The managing director of the company, Pratap Kish-ore Panda, surrendered before the police on Monday. But, Santosh and Sujata have remained at large.

'Circulars have been issued against the two directors of the company to ensure that they are not able to flee the country. The circular was issued as both of them are avoiding the police,' said police commissioner Y.B. Khurania.

Taking suo motu cognisance of the collapse, the police on had on Sunday registered a case against five persons, including directors of the private firm and two works department officials, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code#including charges of culpable homicide.

The police have so far arrested four persons -additional executive engineer of works department Banshidhar Praharaj, assistant engineer of works department Kishore Rout, project in-charge of Panda Infraproject (India) Private Ltd Bipul Chakraborty and managing director of the company Pratap Kishore Panda.

In another development, Sheetal, the eight-year-old daughter of Satyabrata Patnaik who died in the collapse, has been shifted to the general ward of the AIIMS. Her family members said that the child has not been informed about her father's death and is asking about his whereabouts.

'We have been trying to console her by saying that her father has gone out for some work. We don't know how will she face the reality,' said a relative of the deceased. The Class-III girl was returning to her Jharapada home with her father after her dance class when a huge portion of the under-construction overbridge fell on them.

Amid demands of stringent action against the constructing company from various quarters, the works department today said a final decision would be taken after the completion of probe.

'The process of removal of shuttering materials from the accident site will be completed tonight. We are also examining the agreement with the contractor to decide our future course of action,' said chief engineer (roads) Om Prakash Patel.
