Ranchi: A special CBI court hearing fodder scam case pertaining to Dumka treasury, in which former Bihar chief ministers Lalu Prasad and Jagannath Mishra are accused, will deliver its verdict on March 15 with judge Shivpal Singh completing the hearing on Monday.
In all, 31 accused are being tried in the case, RC 38A/96, pertaining to misappropriation of Rs 3.13 crore from the treasury against an actual allotment of Rs 1.5 lakh using 96 fake vouchers in 1995-96. Lalu, who is lodged in Birsa Munda Central Jail after being pronounced guilty in two fodder scam cases, RC 64A/96 and RC 68A/96 in December 2017 and January 2018, appeared in the special CBI court over video hook-up in the afternoon.
