Start-up event
The annual start-up competition of SAI International School was conducted on July 19. L.N. Gupta, additional chief secretary of the MSME department and the man behind the Odisha Startup Policy, graced the occasion as chief guest and judged the competition.
Thirty-seven entrepreneurial projects lined up at the Indraprastha auditorium where the students showcased bright and innovative ideas, reflecting their concern for rising pollution, public welfare and development of the smart city.
Gupta suggested identifying the best five projects of the school and registering them in the MSME portal for start-ups, which, if found feasible, would be connected with angel investors and given an opportunity to take part in the “Festival of Innovation” to be held later this year.
