Youngsters take part in the 50th Patha Utsav celebrations on Janpath on Sunday.

The 50th edition of the event was celebrated with much fanfare.

Wish Foundation, a social organisation, today coloured the Janpath stretch with rangoli art that depicted events from past Patha Utsav days.

Rangoli artist Itishree Dixit presented a special art on golden jubilee theme with logos of the tourism department, the commissionarate police, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and Bhubaneswar Development Authority.

Children had fun playing carom, ludo and block games during the show. Dance and song performances, skits and a magic show entertained many people.

"Many kids played football, ringball and other games in the cycle and skating zone. Archery was another attractive event at the activity zone. The atmosphere was very lively today," said Akanksha Mohapatra, a participant.
