Puri, April 5: Businessman and Jagannath temple servitor Jagdish Das Mohapatra, 31, considers himself blessed.

After trekking a distance of 65km from Puri to Kakatpur and seeking the blessings of Maa Mangala, (change of idols) He said: "I have asked my father, who is the dalapati (team leader), not to ring up my wife till I am the part of the team. This is time to be austere and disciplined.". Without Him, we have no existence for the Lord<>.

"Today, we identified six to seven trees. Other teams are yet to come back. The process of finding the wood will take at least five to six days. After examining all aspects, we will make an announcement about the wood," said Daitapati Niyog president Ramakrushna Das Mohapatra.
