Jajpur: Dharmasala police busted a sex racket at Brahmabarada market area in the district on Saturday. They arrested three persons, including the woman kingpin, and rescued two sex workers during the raid. They seized two bikes, cash, four mobile phones and some incriminating materials from the house where the racket functioned.

The arrested have been identified as Mahendra Nayak of Betanda village, Trilochan Jena of Bandhadiha, who were customers and Kalpana Jena, 39, of Jayasingada village, the kingpin of the racket.

Cops acted on the information by the local residents that girls were being procured from Cuttack, Baramba and Salepur for prostitution.

The four customers and two sex workers parked their motor bikes in a secluded place and went to the house located in Brahmabarada market on Friday night. Local residents spotted them and informed the police.
