Bhubaneswar, Feb. 16: Goons today snatched cash worth Rs 5 lakh kept in the scooty of a businessman near Sriya Square.

Dumduma resident Sk Yasin, 40, had drawn the amount from a bank in the same area and kept it in the dickey. He had then parked his scooty near a mobile repairing shop. 'When I came out of the shop, I found the cash missing,' alleged Yasin. Later, he registered a complaint with Kharavela Nagar police. Yasin had forgotten to take the keys of his vehicle with him after parking it. 'We are scrutinising the CCTV footages of the nearby traffic intersections,' said DCP Satyabrata Bhoi.
