Bhubaneswar, Dec. 20: A section of students of the BJB (Autonomous) College today demonstrated outside the campus in protest against the authorities’ decision to invite BJD MLA Ashok Panda for the institute’s annual function.

The group wanted Congress leader and former chairman of the National Cricket Academy and president of the Odisha Cricket Association Ranjib Biswal for the occasion.

The students shouted slogans and closed the main gate for about two hours.
