Bhubaneswar, Oct. 2: Forum Mart, in association with The Telegraph, has organised a shopping carnival to make festive shopping more exciting.

The 10-day carnival, which marks the mart’s fifth year, is buzzing with young crowds grooving to peppy music and competing against each other to win lucrative prizes.

Inaugurated on September 27, events conducted by The Telegraph turned out to be an attraction for the visitors and entertained the audience with interactive games. A daily round of quiz, arranged for all age groups, is replete with logical reasoning, general knowledge questions and challenging puzzles. The Spellbee contest, a favourite among the audience, often has the crowd rolling with laughter at some of the amusing wrongly-spelt words by the contestants. The Telegraph is awarding attractive prizes to all its winners.

The Telegraph is well-known for its segment dedicated to quizzing. Since I follow Telekids ardently, I enjoyed participating in the quiz,” said Rahul Pani, a Spellbee participant.

Since all visitors to Forum Mart are eligible to take part in the carnival, the celebration is witnessing bigger crowds everyday. Several acts like jugglery shows, circus acts and musical events have also been organised to let the audience enjoy the festive fervour throughout the day.

“Forum Mart is a favourite destination of the people when it comes to shopping and eating. For the past five years, we are making an effort to give a new meaning to festive shopping. The attractive prizes that we offer is our way of thanking our customers,” said the mall’s operations manager, S. Barua.

The carnival has also organised a lucky draw, where the winner can win a Maruti Estilo. Other attractive prizes are motorcycles, sewing machines, LCD TVs, bags and much more.
