Two contestants engage in a battle of wits in the NIIT Chess Master 2006 at Landmark Hotel in the city on Tuesday. Uttam Saikia of Dholasatra Higher Secondary School, Jorhat, was crowned Chess Master 2006 in the juniors event, while Tapan Chetia of Lengri Higher Secondary School, Dibrugarh, clinched the seniors’ title.
