students’ meet:

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council will organise the second all-Assam state-level higher secondary school and junior college students’ meet on December 28, 29 and 30 at the Nehru Stadium and District Library auditorium. Athletics, debate and quiz competitions will be held during the meet. The motion for the debate is: The 33rd National Games, to be held in Assam in 2005, will definitely create an awakening among the youth of the state. Nearly 900 students from 23 districts of the state are expected to participate in the meet.
