Imphal, Oct. 2: T. Raju Singh came back with a bang as his sensational bicycle-kick goal handed Southern Sporting Union a 1-0 win over Tiddim Road Unique Gamy Players Union in a match of the 10th Manipur State League, 2015, at Mapal Kangjeibung here today.

Neither side had managed to make a breakthrough when H. Dayananda's corner kick found Th. Roshan, whose feeble header found Raju Singh in the 66th minute. Making no mistake, Raju smashed the ball into the back of the net in signature style.

So at the beginning of the fifth round, Southern Sporting Union have eight points from two wins, two draws and one loss while Tiddim Road Unique Gamy Player Union have seven points from two wins, one draw and two losses in the league.

In another match, Manipur Police Sports Club managed to draw against new entrants Young Physique Union. The police team have managed to draw two games and lost three, giving them two points. Young Physique have one win, two draws and two losses.

Imphal East super division football: YOSC Khurai beat SAK Yumnam Khunou 2-0 in a match of the MK Ghanendrajit Memorial Super Division Football League played at SWC ground, Khongman. Moyosing and T. Khongreiwo scored a goal each. The other match between PYA Kairang and UPAA Kiyamgei ended in a goalless draw.

Imphal West second division football: NC Club Khonghampat beat TDC Mayang Langjing 2-1 in a match of the fifth K. Karnajit Singh Memorial Second Division Football League at Malom Terakha ground today. Julian Keishing and N. Suresh scored for Khonghampat while K. Kuber chipped in with the lone goal for Mayang Langjing.

The other match between YAC Yaiskul and MTSU Malom saw the latter walk away with a 1-0 victory, courtesy a goal by N. Naresh.
