Dimapur: The Nagaland government constituted a committee on Saturday to examine anomalies in pay, if any, arising out of the Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017.

The four-member committee, to be chaired by agriculture principal secretary Imkonglemba Ao, has been asked to submit its recommendations to the government within four months.

An official notification said the committee will examine all cases of anomalies arising out of the Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017, on the basis of representations received from various service associations and individuals and also cases referred by the government.

It will decide its own procedure of functioning and may call for information from any department or service association to facilitate examination of cases referred to it.

The committee can accept representations from any service association or individual government employee and invite them for hearing their grievances, if necessary.

The pay anomalies committee has informed all the departments and service associations/individuals to submit their representations, if any, clearly indicating the anomalies, if any, found by them in the Nagaland Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017, latest by July 15 to enable it to proceed with its task.
