Siemens SL55 is designed specially for easy use, where one can get all the advanced functions of today’s mobile communication in a beautifully shaped, light phone. Besides the basic facilities, it has a quick camera, carrying cases, car kit professional voice and li-polymer battery of 500 MAH. It ensures fast data transfer as well as intelligent typing speed, and enriched MMS messages with photos, graphics, music and sound. Siemens SL55 has an eye-catching, innovative design with sliding function, triband phone for worldwide use, polyphonic voice melodies, 4096 colour display, handsfree and voice command. Siemens SLl55 carries a warranty for a year, with six months warranty on battery. It costs Rs 27,000.

Ready to eat

MTR food limited has introduced vegetable pulao in its Ready to Eat range of products. The delicious, wholesome medley of rice, vegetable and spices is 100 per cent natural. Free from artificial colours, it has ingredients like rice, beans, carrots, onions, hydrogenated vegetable oil, peas, salt, garlic, pepper, green chilli, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf and clove. It also has other necessary nutrition elements. This product is in a ready-to-eat form and can be consumed straight out of the pack or warmed up. A 300g hygienic attractive pack of MTR Ready to Eat vegetable pulao costs Rs 34.

Britannia Industries Limited has introduced another variation — orange — of its Little Hearts biscuit range. With wheat flour, sugar, edible vegetable oils, leavening agents, salts, permitted emulsifiers, milk, milk products, yeast salt and so on, as ingredients the heart-shaped biscuits “melt in the mouth” on a single bite. A 25g airtight pack sachet of little heart orange costs Rs 4.

Hard chocolate

Nestle Industries Limited’s another product — Nestle Milkybar Starz Green Apple, a hard chocolate bar, is now available in the market. With sugar, hydrogenated refined vegetable oil, milk solids, liquid glucose, soya lecithin and malic acid, synthetic food colours and nut traces as ingredients, a 28g hard pack of new Nestle Milkybar Starz Green Apple costs Rs 10.

Mango drink

Frooti Mango, a delicious and refreshing mango drink, is now available in pet bottles. Manufactured by Padmesh Beverages, Guwahati under licence from Parle Agro Private Limited, Mumbai, Frooti Mango is now available in the Nort6heast market. With water, mango pulp, sugar, citric acid, preservatives (class II), ascorbic acid, permitted synthetic food colour and added flavour as ingredients, this ready-to-drink fruit beverage comes in 250ml, 500ml and 1 litre bottles costing Rs 12, Rs 18 and Rs 28 respectively.

Toothcare

The well-known Dabur Lal toothcare is now available in the market in paste form. Manufactured by Barman Laboratories Pvt Limited, this non-floridated toothpaste has herbal extracts like laung, pudina, tomar, that promise strong teeth and keeps dental problem away. A 50g tube of Dabur Lal toothpaste costs Rs 10.
