Guwahati, Sept. 24: 26-year-old youth, Bhrigu Hazarika, was found dead with his throat slit at his rented home at Chachal in the city this morning. A blood-stained knife was also found on the spot.
The police suspect that Hazarika, who hails from Gohpur in Sonitpur, committed suicide after failing to find a job.

Guwahati: Northeast Frontier Railway announced the extension of two trains for another three months from October 1. The trains are 0567/0568 Dibrugarh Town-Kamakhya Junction special train and 911A/912A Dibrugarh Town-Tinsukia Special. The 0568/0567 Dibrugarh Town-Kamakhya Jn special train will stop at Naharkatia and Duliajan stations on nominated days from September 25 to October 25.
