Nagaon, April 30: Goa, Mizoram and Tamil Nadu today entered the quarter-finals of 4th sub-junior (under-17) girls’ national football championship by defeating Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir 5-0, 3-0 and 11-0 respectively in three second- round group league matches at Karbi Anglong Sports Association ground in Diphu.

Striker Steffi Carbozo scored three goals for Goa and Valentina Estebrio and Puja Rabiela netted in the other two. C. Lalrimnoi scored two goals for Mizoram, while striker C.K. Lalnunpui netted one.

Tamil Nadu striker N. Heyanphi scored four goals, while midfielder R. Radhika and R. Kalpana scored three goals each.

Defending champions Orissa will meet Tamil Nadu and Haryana will play Sikkim in the first two quarter-final matches tomorrow.
