Guwahati, Sept 8: Two United National Liberation Front (UNLF) cadres were apprehended by Assam police led by Divisional DSP of police Dispur, Jayanta Sarthi Bora in the city this morning.

The cadres were identified as self-styled lieutenant colonel, Ningombam Dilip Singh, alias Ibochou, alias Moni, Deputy Organisation Secretary, 47 years and self styled Captain Jatishor Sing alias Ctelemla alias Telemla, 37years.

Two laptops, eight mobile phones, five extra sim cards, three pen drives, three internet data cards, two SBI ATM cards (present bank status Rs.3,58,046), one Panasonic handy cam, one Nikon digital camera, one Sony digital camera and an amount of Rs.3,65,000 were recovered from the militants.

Currently, they are at the Noonmati police station where the militants have been subjected to severe interrogation by the police.
