Imphal, Feb. 26: L. Irabanta Singh bagged the overall champion’s title of the 4th Mr Challenge Cup, organised by Young Body Builder Gym at Pishumthong in Imphal West today.

In the 75-kg category, L. Irabanta Singh of Young Body Builder Gym defeated Y. Nilbir Singh of Manipur Police Sports Club.

Rk. Bikram Singh of Young Body Builder Gym took the third spot while I. Kumarjit Singh of YBB Gym, Kh. Chitrasen Singh of Khurai Lainingthou Puthiba Panganba Club and Ch. Dineshkumar Singh of Young Body Builder Gym took the fourth, fifth and sixth spots respectively.

Irabanta Singh also collected Rs 5,000 and gifts from sponsors.

Y. Chinglen Singh of Health Studio Mayang, Imphal, clinched the top spot in the 55-kg category, while M. Brojendro Singh of YBB Gym came second and T. Premjit Singh of Kanglei Body Builder, Tera, bagged the third spot.

Manipur Police Sports Club bodybuilder Y. Sunanta Singh won the title in the 60-kg group while Th. Sanjit of Wangkhei Health Training Academy bagged the second position.

K. Sanayaima of TBBC Takyel Khongbal took the third spot and M. Itomba Singh of Kanglei Body Builder Tera came fourth.

In the 65-kg category, M. Roshan Singh of YBB Gym won the title, while L. Bobby Singh claimed the second spot.

Th. Devata Singh of Royal Gym Ningomthong was third.

L. Yaiphaba Meetei of Health Studio Mayang Imphal and Ch. Megha Singh of Kanglei Body Builder Tera were fourth and fifth.

S. Premkumar Singh of YBB Gym claimed the top spot in the 70-kg category, while G. Romen Kabui of Royal Gym Ningomthong took the second spot and E. Arif Ali of Wangkhei HTA took the third spot.

H. Sunjoy Singh of Singjamei JBC, W. Leninder Singh of Takyel Body Building Club and Ng. Mahesh Singh of Kanglei Body Builder Tera bagged the fourth, fifth and sixth spots.

Altogether 24 body builders from eight gyms took part in the competition.
