Bais congratulated all those who received the degrees and medals. He asked them to work hard and conveyed his compliments to the proud parents whose endless sacrifices have helped their children excel in pursuit of knowledge.

“I propose a big applause for their efforts. I congratulate all degree recipients and also the faculty and support staff of the institute who tirelessly nurtured them during their evolution to be future engineers and scientists of our beloved nation. I extend my heartfelt blessings to them and pray for their success in all future endeavours,” he added.

He said over the last five years, the education system, under the “mentorship” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been consistently adapting itself for global requirements by promoting research and creativity.

He said this helps the new generation of Indians to evolve as techno entrepreneurs in the Make in India effort.

NIT Agartala director H.K. Sharma congratulated the students and said the institution has signed MoUs with many industries and research institutes. Under these MoUs, NIT Agartala has agreed to conduct conferences, workshops, short-term courses and research works jointly.
