Imphal, Oct. 7: I. Deva was crowned the 13th Mr Imphal East in an event organised by IEDBBFA and held at Lairiyengbam Leikai community hall last evening.

Apart from the title, Deva had earlier been selected to represent India in the World Junior Body-building Championship, to be held in Mongolia from October 24-28.

In the junior category, W. Bimolchand of Super Gym Khurai claimed the champion’s title while Matibur Rehman, also of Super Gym Khurai, walked away with the Master’s title.

Football: Sekmai Koujengleima Youth Club emerged champions of the third K. Karnajit Memorial Second Division Football League at YWC Malom ground. The Sekmai team defeated SAI RC by a solitary goal.

Archery: The Manipur Archery Association will be organising the 28th Junior and 24th Senior State Archery Championship from October 27 to November 3.
