Guwahati, June 30: Last year’s runners-up 4th APBn moved into the semi-finals of the Guwahati Sports Association’s fourth Joymoti Das inter-office football championship, defeating Accountant General (AG) Office 3-0 at the Guwahati Refinery Sector II ground here today.

Amulya Das, Gopal Deka and Raju Tumung found the net for the police team in the last quarterfinal match of the meet.

Yesterday, defending champions Assam State Electricity Board (ASEB) crushed Postal Department 19-0 in a heavily lopsided quarterfinal. Sanjiba Rongpi, Sushil Kumar Singh and R. Zuala struck four times apiece, while Nitu Narzary found the net thrice.

In the semi-finals, ASEB will meet SP Office, who upset Food Corporation of India (FCI) 2-1 in the quarters.
