Kohima, Dec. 20: Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio today inaugurated Babu Tzubu Amphitheatre at Ungma village, which stands as a symbol of friendship between the people of Ungma in Mokokchung district and Tuophema village in Kohima district.
The amphitheatre, which was built by a group of 26 workers from the construction team owned by the chief minister in a record time of 121 days, has a seating capacity of 5,000. Addressing the gathering after the inauguration, Rio said it would nurture the friendship and unity between the Ao and the Angami communities and the Nagas.
